Mopro Clinic Website Membership Terms of Use
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Use set forth the conditions governing the membership services provided through the website operated by Mopro Clinic (the “Clinic”), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Clinic and its members.
Article 2 (Definitions)
1. “Website” means the website through which the Clinic provides information about medical staff and services, health information, Before & After Photos, Patient Reviews, and other content via the internet.
2. “Member” means a person who agrees to these Terms, registers using an email address, and uses membership services provided by the Clinic.
3. “Services” means the general information, access to members-only content, account management, and other online services determined and provided by the Clinic through the Website.
4. “Members-only Content” means Before & After Photos, Patient Reviews, and other materials made available only to logged-in members.
5. “Linked Site” means a third-party website or service connected to the Website by hyperlink or a similar method.
Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of the Terms)
1. The Clinic will post these Terms on the Website so that members can readily review them.
2. The Clinic may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
3. If these Terms are amended, the Clinic will announce the effective date and reason for amendment on the Website at least seven days before the effective date. Amendments that are materially disadvantageous to members or otherwise important will, in principle, be announced at least 30 days before the effective date and may also be sent to the registered email address where necessary.
4. A member who does not agree to amended Terms may request termination of membership.
Article 4 (Services)
1. The Clinic provides the following services:
(1) Information about the Clinic’s medical staff, medical services, consultation hours, and location;
(2) General health information relating to hair transplantation, hair-loss treatment, scalp micropigmentation, and related subjects;
(3) Access to members-only Before & After Photos and Patient Reviews;
(4) Password reset, account management, and responses to membership-related inquiries; and
(5) Other services determined and provided by the Clinic.
2. The Clinic may modify or discontinue all or part of the Services depending on applicable law, the scope of patient consent, content-management policies, or technical circumstances.
Article 5 (Suspension of Services)
1. The Clinic may temporarily suspend the Services in the event of system inspection, replacement or malfunction, communications failure, natural disaster, an order from a competent authority, or another unavoidable circumstance.
2. Where a service interruption can reasonably be anticipated, the Clinic will provide advance notice through the Website to the extent practicable.
3. The Clinic will not be liable for a service interruption caused by force majeure or a third party, unless the interruption results from the Clinic’s intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 6 (Membership Registration)
1. A general user may apply for membership by entering an email address and password and agreeing to these Terms.
2. The email address registered by a general member will be used as the login identifier. Administrator accounts or other accounts used for Website operation may use a separate username.
3. The Clinic may require email verification, and membership will be established when the required registration procedures have been completed.
4. The Clinic may reject an application or subsequently restrict membership if any of the following applies:
(1) Another person’s email address or information has been used without authorization;
(2) False information has been submitted or required information has been omitted;
(3) The applicant previously lost membership due to a violation of these Terms and applies again;
(4) The application is likely to materially interfere with the stable operation of the Services;
(5) The applicant is under 14 years of age; or
(6) The application otherwise violates applicable law or these Terms.
Article 7 (Account and Password Management)
1. A general member’s registered email address will be used for login, password reset, and membership-related notices.
2. A member must register an email address that the member can validly use and must notify the Clinic if the email address becomes unavailable.
3. A member must manage the password securely and may not lend, transfer, disclose, or share the account or password with another person.
4. If a member becomes aware of account theft or unauthorized use, the member must immediately change the password and notify the Clinic.
5. The Clinic will implement security safeguards required under applicable law, including storing passwords in a form that cannot be decrypted.
Article 8 (Termination of Membership and Restrictions on Use)
1. A member may request termination of membership at any time through My Page or through an identity-verification procedure using the registered email address.
2. The Clinic may restrict use of the Services or terminate membership after prior notice if the member:
(1) Uses another person’s account or transfers or shares an account;
(2) Reproduces, saves, distributes, or provides members-only content to a third party without authorization;
(3) Interferes with normal Website operation or compromises security;
(4) Infringes the reputation, copyright, portrait rights, privacy, or other rights of the Clinic or a third party;
(5) Engages in unlawful advertising, sales, referral of medical services, or other illegal conduct; or
(6) Violates applicable law or these Terms.
3. Where an urgent security measure is necessary, the Clinic may restrict use first and provide notice afterward.
4. A member may submit an explanation regarding a restriction or termination, and the Clinic will review it within a reasonable scope.
Article 9 (Notice to Members)
1. The Clinic may provide notices to members through the registered email address or Website announcements.
2. A notice applicable to multiple members may replace individual notice if it is posted on the Website for at least seven days. Where the matter materially affects members’ rights or obligations, the Clinic will also provide notice by registered email where practicable.
Article 10 (Obligations of the Clinic)
1. The Clinic will comply with applicable law and these Terms and will make reasonable efforts to provide the Services in a stable manner.
2. The Clinic will protect members’ personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy and will not use membership-registration information for advertising or marketing.
3. The Clinic will endeavor to address legitimate opinions and complaints raised by members within a reasonable period.
Article 11 (Obligations of Members)
A member must not engage in any of the following:
(1) Registering false information or using another person’s email address or account;
(2) Altering, deleting, or bypassing Website information, software, or security functions without authorization;
(3) Using automated programs or similar means to gain abnormal access or collect information;
(4) Capturing, reproducing, saving, transmitting, posting, or distributing members-only Before & After Photos, Patient Reviews, or patient-related information;
(5) Infringing the copyright, portrait rights, privacy, reputation, or business rights of the Clinic or a third party;
(6) Posting commercial advertising, selling products, referring medical services, or posting unlawful information; or
(7) Engaging in conduct contrary to applicable law, public order and morals, or these Terms.
Article 12 (Copyright and Restrictions on Use of Content)
1. Copyright and other rights in the text, photographs, videos, design, Before & After Photos, and other content posted on the Website belong to the Clinic or the applicable lawful rights holder.
2. Without the Clinic’s prior written consent, a member may not reproduce, capture, save, edit, publish, transmit, distribute, broadcast, commercially use, or permit a third party to use Website content.
3. Members-only Content may include a patient’s personal information, likeness, or treatment experience. A member must not disclose such content externally or attempt to identify a particular patient.
Article 13 (Health Information and Patient Reviews)
1. Health information on the Website is provided for general informational purposes and is not a substitute for an individual medical diagnosis, consultation, or treatment.
2. Patient Reviews and Before & After Photos reflect individual patients’ experiences and outcomes and do not mean or guarantee that every person will obtain the same result.
3. Users should receive an in-person examination and sufficient consultation with a qualified medical professional concerning their health condition and treatment needs.
Article 14 (Linked Sites)
Third-party websites or services linked from the Website are provided under the responsibility of their respective operators. Unless caused by the Clinic’s intentional misconduct or gross negligence, the Clinic is not responsible for the content of, or transactions conducted through, a Linked Site.
Article 15 (Limitation of Liability)
1. The Clinic is not liable for account theft, information leakage, or service disruption caused by a member’s fault, except where the Clinic has violated a statutory security obligation.
2. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the Clinic will not be liable for indirect losses that could not reasonably have been anticipated in connection with Services provided free of charge.
3. Nothing in this Article excludes or limits liability arising from the Clinic’s intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 16 (Dispute Resolution and Governing Law)
1. The Clinic and members will endeavor in good faith to resolve disputes relating to use of the Services amicably.
2. If a dispute cannot be resolved through consultation, the laws of the Republic of Korea will apply, and jurisdiction will be determined in accordance with the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.
Addendum
These Terms take effect on August 4, 2026.
